Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can be a daily struggle and unfortunately a downwards battle, but you can reduce pain and have greater patient empowerment like Simon.

Simon was recommended PEMF therapy by his physiotherapist, and used a full body mat to help reduce the pain he was experiencing all over his body due to him being a sufferer of Multiple Sclerosis; he used the Sleep Programme and Vitality Programme for 20 minutes at a time. He said the treatment was tiring but he had a general feeling of well-being after each session with the PEMF therapy mat. This is because the mat was making the body work more efficiently and it can be tiring as your body needs to acclimatise to the new, more streamlined way of working and this can be even more exaggerated when you are already suffering an underlying condition.

Simon found it best for him to sit on the mat rather than lie down; the PEMF therapy mat is flexible and can be used in many varying ways and positions. Simon tells us, ‘the mat seemed to be making a positive difference, especially as I was sleeping better.’

The therapy mat has also been helping Simon with his physical problems as well, ‘I am feeling stronger in my back and legs.’

Simon concludes, ‘the treatment is somewhat tiring but has positive outcomes and it has helped me overcome my sleeping problems.’

Using the PEMF therapy mat has started the recovery process and maintaining healthy sleep patterns for Simon and for MS sufferers in general, to gain the most from the therapy, will need to be in contact with the mat for 20 minutes two times a day.
