Workplace Health Week 💪🏽🍊
This week was workplace health week (23 – 27 May). A week full of activities designed to help businesses inspire their employees to become more active at work.
NHS guidelines state that adults should try to do at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity, such as cycling or fast walking, every week to stay healthy – but an estimated 40 percent of people do not exercise enough, according to Public Health England.
Employers were urged to get involved with a different focus each day, at NewMed our itinerary for the week was as follows;
Monday Motivation 🍌 – A piece of fruit and a motivational quote for everyone in the office.
Teamwork Tuesday 🏆 – A team building activity!
Workout Wednesday 🏋🏽 – A morning workout in the office followed by healthy juices and smoothies. (Yummy!)
Thursday 🏃🏽 – Midday Mile, a walk around Harrietsham village.
Feel Good Friday 😃 – 5 minutes relaxation on the Magnetovital PEMF therapy vario couch and a bottle of our Donat Mg Magnesium Water.
