My training is going well, and I have now completed 2 half marathons; in Surrey and Hastings.
I completed the Surrey half in 1 hour 41 minutes in the pouring rain, and completed the Hastings half in 1 hour 44 minutes.
The Hastings half was really challenging, the course has so many hills, so I was impressed with my time as I thought I was much slower with all the hills.
When I got back from the Surrey half, I laid on my Magnetovital PEMF therapy mattress on program 12 for muscles for 30 minutes and then at bedtime I put it on again, on program 2 for sleep.
My legs are feeling fine this morning, which has really surprised me, as the week before after I ran the Surrey half, I couldn’t walk properly for a few days. Because of the amount of hills in the Hastings run yesterday I thought I would be feeling more pain today.
I mentioned this to my wife this morning, and she asked me if I used the PEMF therapy after the Surrey half. I then realised I didn’t use PEMFs after this run as I didn’t have time.
This just shows how much difference PEMF therapy can make. I will be making sure the FlexPulse PEMF therapy device is with me after the London marathon, so I can get the therapy straight after the run.
I still have a way to go with my sponsorship. So far I have raised £770. On Friday 31st March I have agreed to have my legs waxed to try and raise some more money, and my brother Jason has agreed to have his waxed too if we can raise another £100 between now and then.
If you would like to support me, even if its just £1 it will be hugely appreciated, you can do so via this link http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AndrewSmith138
