Hello, my name is Grace and I am NewMed’s new sales administrator.
I am a mother of one beautiful 8-month-old baby girl. Being a mother has taught me many life skills and lessons. It has made me very organised. It is challenging but 100% rewarding. I am currently moving into my first home, so I’m a very busy bee right now. Having my own place to live is something I have always dreamed about, although this means I really do have to learn to cook. I may not be able to cook very much but I do still do my best to eat well, as you can imagine I need as much energy as I can get, especially with the little one! She keeps me on my toes. I believe a healthy lifestyle can give you extra energy.
Alongside being NewMed’s sales administrator I am training to be a dental nurse, which includes studying at home and college. I like to be kept busy as you may be able to tell.
Most of my previous experience has been in retail or working for pubs and hotels. I enjoy working within different industries. I have always worked well with others ever since secondary school. Working as part of different industries, I have very much expanded my customer service skills over the years. I would say I am a very sociable, outgoing and confident character. I like working as part of a team, which here at NewMed I can say, we definitely do. If there was one other way to describe myself, I would probably say that it is helpful. I love to help others, I think I get this trait from my dad.
At NewMed I am learning new skills every day, such as handling phone calls, emails and social media. I am experiencing a little bit of every service we have to offer. This job keeps me busy and interacted with so many varieties of people and that is what I love about it. I am looking forward to my future here at NewMed and expanding my skill set.
