World Arthritis Day 2018

World Arthritis Day is celebrated on the 12th October to raise awareness of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Arthritis is a condition that causes pain and inflammation in a joint. According to the NHS, around 10 million people in the UK have the condition and it affects people of all ages.

PEMF therapy has proven to be effective for the management of arthritis and there are several studies available. PEMFs can ease arthritis pain quickly and effectively. In the book Power Tools for Health, it explains how research shows us that PEMF therapies may be an important tool for the treatment of arthritis. One study ‘Low frequency pulsed electromagnetic field, a viable alternative therapy for arthritis’ concluded that PEMF not only alleviates the pain in the arthritis condition but it could also be a viable alternative for arthritis therapy.

Tracie has used a PEMF therapy mat for her arthritis and explained “I am in constant pain because of this; I felt that my life was being controlled by my pain and that my quality of life was being compromised. The mat and its therapy has lessened my pain and made my life much easier. Before the pain would restrict me and limit me but now I am leading an almost normal life and feel if I carry on with the therapy things can only get better”.

Versus arthritis, formally Arthritis Research UK has listed magnet therapy mats as a complementary and alternative treatment for arthritis. You can find out about PEMF products available here.
