Top tips for meditation!
What is meditation?
Meditation is a set of techniques that involves clearing your mind and focusing to help minimise distracting or stressful thoughts or feelings. Reasons why people tend to meditate include lowering stress, connecting better, improving focus, and more!
When beginning your meditation journey, the first thing you will want to do is find a quiet place where you can get comfortable to be able to sit still for a period of time. You’ll want to find a position that you are comfortable being sat still in, and this doesn’t have to be the poses that are associated with meditation.
Another tip that we often remind people of is that PEMF therapy can be used as a tool to help deepen meditation!
One of the popular applications of PEMF therapy is for deep relaxation, some PEMF therapy devices have programs that can induce an alpha state. This is where the mind is both relaxed, yet awakened, and ready to learn and focus. With PEMFs that are between 14 – 30 Hz can also help to increase the brain’s beta waves, which can help aid the brain’s ability to process information and multitask more efficiently.
Many people use their PEMF therapy devices to help enhance meditation. Full-body PEMF mats can be used like a yoga mat, and localised devices can be used next to you while you do so.
