Top 5 ways to optimise your health!
The end of June celebrates World Wellbeing Week. An awareness week that provides the opportunity for people all around the world to celebrate all aspects of well-being. It is as important as ever that we continue to make our well-being and wellness a priority in day-to-day life.
We wanted to share with you a few tips that we have for achieving optimal wellness.
Our first tip is good nutrition.
A healthy diet, and making sure that you stay hydrated are key to keeping healthy. Having a well-balanced diet will help to provide you with the energy you need to keep active through the day, and will also give you the nutrients that you need for growth and recovery. Not only will it have a positive impact on your physical health, but it can also have a positive mental impact, as it can increase your energy and boost your mood.
Our second tip is sleep.
Something that we all have to do, whether we like it or not is sleep, and it is vital for our wellbeing. A good night’s sleep is needed for both cognitive and behavioural functions. Implementing factors into your routine can help you to get the right amount of sleep needed to function, these can include avoiding caffeine in the hours before bedtime, exercising during the day, maintaining comfortable temperatures in your bedroom etc.
Our third tip is, general physical activity.
According to the NHS, adults aged 19 – 64 should aim to do at least 150 minutes of moderate activity a week and spread the exercise across the week evenly. Not only does regular exercise not only helps to keep us moving, but it can also help to reduce the risk of major illnesses.
Our fourth tip is, stress management.
We all know that we don’t feel ourselves when we are under stress, this is why it is important for not only our mental health but our physical health to try our best to keep our stress to a minimum. It’s important that we are open with friends, families, and colleagues about how we are feeling, and talking to people is a great way in relieve stress symptoms we may be feeling. A good night’s sleep can also contribute to stress relief as our body and mind will be well rested, and ready to function better during the day.
Our fifth tip is, and by no means least, PEMF therapy.
PEMF therapy has many different applications that people use it for, including many of the mentioned tips above. We widely encourage people to use PEMF to help with overall health and well-being and does so by targeting the body at a cellular level. You can easily implement PEMFs into your day-to-day routine, there are localised PEMF devices that can be used on the go, as well as full-body PEMF mats with sessions as little as 12 minutes.
