On the 13th November, Andy and myself headed to Medica 2016 with some of the Bedfont sales team.
Medica is an exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, known as the world’s leading trade fair for medicine and medical technology. Bedfont attends every year, and this was my first time visiting the exhibition.
We spent 2 days of the exhibition visiting stands that sold Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and got to see some new devices. During the 2 days, we also got to catch up with our friends from Magnetovital in Germany and I finally got to see the famous horse from their showroom.
Andy’s father Trevor met the Magnetovital team years ago at Medica and when Andy had to have some surgery, he thought they would give the technology a go, and that’s where NewMed began. It was great to finally meet the team properly and speak with them face to face.
During our trip to Dusseldorf, we visited the town center one evening, which gave us that festive feeling. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore much, and we left the day the Christmas market opened but it looked like it would be a great place to visit for a weekend away in December. We tried some of the local delicacies such as pretzels, pork knuckle, and goose soup, which were all delicious. If you’re heading to Germany you should give them a try.
